Compare 2019 Volvo S60

Compare the 2019 Volvo S60 to Popular Models from Audi and Mercedes-Benz

When you're on the search for the right luxury sedan to effortlessly mesh style with power and comfort, you have a few choices to pick from. If you're looking to find the top of the line model, the Volvo S60 has plenty to offer that other options can't quite match. When stacked up side by side with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Audi A$, there are many reasons to choose the 2019 Volvo S60 that gives you the leg up when you want to excel on your daily commute.

When it comes to power, the base model of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class just barely outperforms the base engine package of both the Volvo and Audi sedans. But, the Volvo S60 lineup offers two other engine options while the Mercedes-Benz sticks with one. The upgraded 2.0-liter on the Volvo is more affordable and its turbocharged and supercharged engine produces 316 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque which easily outstrips both of the other sedans.

Interior Design

All models are well-equipped for the comfort of their passengers. They all can seat five and provide ample cargo room for their passengers to store luggage and shopping bags. If you're looking to provide the most comfort, the Volvo S60 offers more legroom for its front-seat passengers. All three models offer a standard moonroof or sunroof with the Audi A4 offer the most front and rear headroom while the Mercedes-Benz comes in third for both front and back.

Features and Technology

When it comes to updated technology, these luxury sedans are well-equipped. However, for a top of the line look and feel, you'll do well with the Volvo S60. It comes standard with a nine-inch multimedia screen which the other two models require expensive upgrades to access larger screen sizes. The more affordable Volvo S60 also offers four-zone automatic climate control standard for its base T5 Momentum trim while the other two luxury sedans do not offer a system like this at all.

All models offer similar safety packages including automatic braking after collision but the Volvo S60 makes the City Safety Collision Avoidance Technology standard on its base model. The Mercedes-Benz and Audi models don't offer this feature and won't provide you with the same peace of mind.
